SACNAS at VCU
The Society for the Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics & Native Americans in Science (SACNAS) is an inclusive organization dedicated to fostering the success of
Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans, from college students to professionals, in attaining advanced degrees, careers, and positions of leadership in STEM.
The SACNAS at VCU group was established in 2020 by a group of STEM scholars from across campus. The group puts forth a variety of signature programming ranging from Cafecito with a Doctor series, Pintando tu Cultura, and a mentorship program with a local high school.
